Listen to a clip from the interview I gave to one of the Elshaddai TV shows. For those who can’t understand Amharic, this is what I’m saying:

The Bible says, “- – – the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (ESV) (1 Corinthians 11:3)

So, when God calls a wife to a ministry, God communicates that call with her in the way she can understand it.

For her to know that her call to a ministry is indeed from God, she has to wait until God speaks to her husband, her head.

“For how long she has to wait?” Until the same God who spoke to her speaks to her husband.

As the Angel of God came to Mary to tell her that she would conceive a child by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1), the same Angel went to Joseph (to Mary’s soon to be husband) and told him the news. Mary didn’t tell that news to Joseph but the Angel of God did. I believe with all my heart that God always works in this way in a marriage. ///
