Thy Will Be Done!

Some people think that closing a prayer with “but Lord, not my will but Your will be done” is a sign of no faith.

To tell you the truth, I’m not really sure what that means. Jesus prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke22:42)

The Best Marriage Advice Ever!

I mean, if a husband takes this advice to heart and live accordingly, he will live happily ever after! His wife never bothers him.

The Tongue

“Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.”(James 1:26)

A tight rein on the tongue shows a tight love of Christ in the heart. Without Christ’s love taking over the heart, the tongue becomes a venomous snake, “- – – a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.”(James 3:6)

A tight rein on the tongue is the evidence of a changed heart, not by might nor by strength but by the Spirit of God. ///

Oh, God Forbid!

But I lived in it for a while before I found the true Gospel of Christ and had that “born-again” experience all over again. Since then, it’s been the most interesting, meaningful and fulfilling journey ever! Continue reading Oh, God Forbid!

When WE Know!

Yeah, there is a big difference between knowing and not-knowing.

When we don’t know the God we follow, we become like a lonely lamb which lives in a constant fear.

The Lord is my light and my salvation—
    whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
” (Psalm 27:1)

WHEN WE KNOW whom we believe in and follow, when we have a good understanding of who the sovereign LORD is, fear will be foreign to us.

Do you know who you worship?

Jesus Christ is not only our light and salvation but He is also the stronghold, the strength of our lives?

Do you know that?

A stronghold: “a place that has been fortified so as to protect it against attack,” the side of our lives that no one can attack and get away with.

Wow! Did you see that? ///
