While I was in line to pay for my groceries, I was on my phone reading my emails that I didn’t get a chance to read in the morning. Then I put my phone back in my pocket and I zoned out. I began thinking about something and before I knew it I said something audibly. And the person who was standing on the other side looked at me as if I was crazy.
I was so embarrassed that I tried to sing as if I was in the middle of rehearsing a song. Then all of a sudden, my heart posed a question: “Does this woman know you?”
When we say “No” to sin, we say “Yes” to God and this very action the word of God calls it a “religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless,” in addition to helping orphans and widows in their time of distress (James 1:27). Continue reading Worship that is Pure and Faultless→
We have a so distorted, perverted, crooked and twisted notion of love and marriage that stories such as this one sounds like a fairy tale to many of us.
As usual, one of those faithful supporters of Appeal for Purity Ministry sent us this video. Thank you, my friend!
When God commands husbands to “love” their wives as Jesus loved the church, He is not joking. He is seriously showing to husbands the shortest way (not necessarily the easy way) they can make their own lives fun and enjoyable.
Many marriage experts agree that no one can have a perfect marriage.
Duh! We all are imperfect people and when two of us come together, we can’t create a perfect life.
Okay, that is like one of those “no brainer” facts. But do you know that many marriage experts (means, people who spend most of their days studying about marriage) agree that there are only two kinds of marriages: Good or bad? Yeah, it is very true.
Being a virgin is not the ultimate spiritual virtue of a Christian.
And being a virgin doesn’t say anything about the person when it comes to sexual purity because sexual purity has nothing to do with being a virgin but everything to do with THE CONDITION OF ONE’S HEART (Matthew 5:28-19). One can be physically a virgin but mentally and spiritually an immoral person. So, as a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, target to be mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually virgin! ///
A4P Guest: I’m 28 years old and my soon-to-be husband is 32. My boyfriend is from here, America and I’m from Ethiopia. My parents want us to make our wedding in an Ethiopian church but I want to do it in the American church I always go to. I felt like I’m disobeying my parents by deciding to do that. Do you think I’m disobeying my parents because I chose a church I want to do my wedding at?
Sometimes the message has to come directly from the heart and a wise person who heard the message will put the message to heart and strive to live by it.
(One of A4P’s fans shared this with us in our inbox. Thank you!)
