Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate Christmas tomorrow.
This is a beautiful season but this same season because of the cloudy, cold and gloomy weather, can be a cause of a number of emotional disturbances for some people.
Whenever I feel down and doubt and unbelief get the best of me, I turn to my old journals. I sit on the floor in my walk-in closet and start reading, beginning from my oldest ones.
Oh, young people, I really advise you to journal your life. I believe with all my heart that God wants us to keep journal of our lives. You know why I said that?
A4P Guest: I am 27 years old. I met this man in my church. I am in our church choir and he is involved in other different ministries in the same church. I first was not interested in him but after we talked on the phone for sometimes, I developed feeling for him. Then we started seeing each other at least once or twice a week, in addition to seeing each other in church once or twice a week. He knows what I like and he surprises me with a gift. I mean, Missy, will you blame me if I deeply fall in love with this man?
Have you ever heard this proverb: “You can’t have the cake and eat it too”?
I love it very much! And I use it almost every day because I live with teenagers.
Teenagers have this tendency where they want to watch movies every night and at the same time, they want to get straight A on all their exams. I mean, how can anybody do that? We can’t have it both ways, period!
