Blessed is – Who?

“Blessed is the one

who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.” (Psalm 1:1-3)

If blessed is this kind of person; a person who is not blessed is the opposite of the person who is described above.

Meditate the Word of God DAY AND NIGHT so that you will be blessed. ///

God is good all the time; and all the time, God is good!

Here again God opened another door for me to travel to another city to worship Him with His people.

May 14 & 15, I will be ministering in Lancaster, PA at the Light of the World Evangelical Church. If you live in that area, I invite you to come out and worship God with us. If you don’t live around Lancaster area but knows someone who does, invite them over on my behalf. For more info about this conference, call the number you see on the flyer.

“In fourth grade – – – I was raped by several men”

Sometimes when we see someone acting out sexually in the most heinous way possible, it is good to ask, “What must have happened to this person for him/her to embrace this kind of lifestyle?”

This young man was beyond anybody’s reach; but compassionate people, people who have tasted and seen the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ and the power of the Blood of Jesus; people who themselves had led sinful lifestyles but were salvaged by the grace of God, were able to reach out to him. They were able to see this wounded person beyond his lifestyle through the love of Jesus Christ they themselves have experienced in their lives.

The Song that Touched my Heart

Oh, how I love this song. I love it because I see Christ all over it; I see the grace and mercy of God that is revealed on the Cross of Jesus Christ; a merciful God we all need in everyday of our lives.

Isn’t what the Gospel is all about!

Yes, I was touched to the core of my being by this video the night I saw it; and every time I see it, I can’t resist the urge to love and worship Jesus Christ in whom I live, move and have my being.

Thank you Pastor Tekeste Getnet.

The Pleasure of Sex before Marriage is fleeting!

You know, I love to hear the truth about “sex before marriage” from transparent and authentic people like Allyson Rowe.

“Been there, done that and don’t wanna go back because I now know the truth” kind of testimony touches my heart deep. I mean, people like Allyson Rowe are speaking from experience. They were lied to but God gave them a second chance and they are speaking out to save others from the devil’s lie. Don’t you love these kinds of people? I do!

I wish I heard this kind of testimony when I was a teenager.

Thank You to All Who Attended the Conference in London

Praise God, I’m home. What a wonderful week I had with the people of God in London!

Before I say anything, I would like to say thank you to many people who made my stay in London a notable one. So, here we go:

I first would like to say “thank you” to the leaders of the ECFC, Ethiopian Christians Fellowship Church in UK (Dr. Getachew Zergaw, Pastor Yishak Tesfaye and Pastor Fasil Belete), who invited me over. May the LORD bless you and yours!

I also would like to say “thank you,” to the whole congregation (including to those who’ve come from different churches and countries like Germany and Norway), who attended the Easter conference from Friday to Sunday and “thank you” to the parents who’ve come out to attend the two-day parents’ seminar and sent their teenagers over to the young-adults’ seminar.

My Little Sister Surprised me with this

Yes, I’m still in London.

And I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this to you but I have two sisters who live in London.

So, yesterday night, my little sister took out this picture I’m sharing with you all and gave it to me. I thought I lost this picture a long time ago.

It is the day I’ve received water baptism. My very first pastor, Pastor David Jireh, is the one you see standing next to me. It was Feb, 1992. Time flies, doesn’t it!

I was baptized in the Holy Spirit a week before this water baptism day. I know, most people get baptized by water first and then by the Holy Spirit. Oh, well, who can tell God what to do and when, in what order? No one!
