Hooray! It’s February!

If you’re not in a mood, you may respond to the above title like?.

I love to talk about love in the month of February. Oh yes, I do! Moreover I naturally love to talk about love, so I always look for a reason and February is known as the month of love, is it? ??‍♀️

Anyways, I don’t usually like to talk about love that is “assumed” to exist among unmarried couples. Notice! Notice! I put the word assumed in quotation marks because more often than not, love exists inside a “marriage,” not in dating.

Are you surprised? Yeah! It is true! Only married people can testify to that fact. That means, if you’re single, just read and think. Leave the comment section to married people because they can teach you a lot about the life you have absolutely no clue about.

There are only attraction, call it physical or sexual attraction, or infatuation which among unmarried couples. After marriage, if the environment is conducive for it, true love starts to take root and grow: love that is “patient and kind,” but not “arrogant or rude.”

And one best sign of the presence of this true love in a marriage is the existence of laughter when those two, the husband and the wife, find themselves alone.

Are you married? Do you laugh with your spouse whenever you guys get a chance to be alone, without your little ones or anybody around?

If not, your marriage may need a tune-up. See if you can point out where your marriage need that critical tune-up or adjustment.

From what I noticed from many marriages, the one common thing that often needs a tune-up is communication.

Wow! If couples start taking each other for granted, they care less for each other’s feelings and emotions which in turn leads them to disrespecting each other.

Once disrespect sets in, their communication feels like she speaks German and he speaks Latin and laughter disappears from their marriage without leaving any trace. Then if the couple survives another anniversary, it must be by a miracle.

Does this describe your marriage?
