Men’s Issues

Psychologist and author, Dr. Richard Dobbins, says,

“men typically have three issues they struggle with in life:

1. Sexual issues,
2. Anger issues, and
3. Lying about both of the above.”

?

Hmm!

I don’t know if I put these three problems in the same list. The third one, I think, is the Problem!

It is not easy to find a man who says, “I have a problem and I need help.”

Are you kidding?

Every man wants to be the problem solver, ALL THE TIME! Not the problem or the person with a problem.

The fall of Adam is just deep!

Being a problem solver in Adam is broken into pieces after the fall. What remains is just a scar, I think, we can call this scar “a fragile ego.”

Once a man finds the significance of this scar, it will be easy for him to beat both number one and two common problems of men.

Why does a man lie?

To look like the original Adam, faultless, brilliant, flawless, all knowing, capable of doing anything and everything he wants kind of man. And hear this: And the man all women will be impressed by kinda a guy!

Well, accepting “the fact,” or “the truth,” that the original Adam is no more helps someone to break free from sexual and anger issues because “the truth” will set him free.

That is why I like the Serenity Prayer:

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot charge, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

If all of us, women, come to a realization that the original Eve, the one who lives in total peace and tranquillity is not more, this world will be a better place to both genders because we all run to the One who can give us rest and peace. Our problem is while we are so broken me imperfect, we demand perfect from our man. And when we see him falling short from that perfection, we cry for our luck, to the get “the bad one,” not knowing that we all are “the bad ones.”

My! My! My!

We all desperately need a Savior! Don’t you think so? Yeah, I think so. ///
