Find Your Lost Rib

As one study that was done in the University of Chicago has shown, the life expectancy of a single man is the same as the man who smokes two packs of cigarettes a day.

?

I mean, do you doubt the findings of this study?

I don’t! Because the Bible says,

“It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” Genesis 2:18 NASB

If God said, “singleness to a man is not a good thing,” who can make it a good thing?

Porn?????

Are you kidding me?

That actually makes his life expectancy even lower!

God created a man, then He created him “a suitable” partner so that he only gets warm and comfortable with her. Period!

Porn cannot replace this God made “suitable helper.”

When the Bible says, “if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone?” (Ecclesiastes 4:11 NASB), I don’t think it only refers to sleeping in a cozy bed, being warm and comfortable; instead, it is talking about life in general, feeling warm and comfortable in life.

So, if you are a single man, listen to me carefully:- You need to make “searching for your lost rib” your full-time job before you drop and die. Don’t listen to what the woman in the motion picture says to you:

“With her many persuasions she entices him;
With her flattering lips she seduces him.” Proverbs 7:21 NASB

God took away one of your ribs and made that rib a woman, suitable to you. It is your job to look and find her and make her yours. Then you don’t need to fear getting cold in life.

Remember, I did not say that. The Bible did. Listen:

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing
And obtains favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 18:22 NASB

“A good thing” because it is God who said, “it is not good” for you to be without her. When you find her, you find a good thing and you also receive, as a bonus, favor from God.

Here comes the punch line! You find no favor from God as a single man. So, get busy, find your lost rib and get warm in life. ///
P. S. Somebody may ask: “What about a woman? What will be her life expectancy if she stays single?” The same study gave an answer. No change! That is one of my million reasons why I love to read and study my Bible because it tells me the Truth! It’s the man who needs help, not a woman. A woman needs something else than a helper and I will write about that some other time.
