There is a parallel relationship between patience and the Sovereignty of God.
When a person has high view of the Sovereignty of God, he/she is strong in one fruit of the Spirit of God, i.e. patience.
Don’t you love talking to patient people? I do!
In the middle of chaotic environment, they are calm. They don’t murmur or complain about their situations.
Because, listen to their lives motto:
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 NASB
Hmm!
All things work together for my good!
How?
God, my Heavenly Father, my Heavenly Daddy, is Sovereign over all things!
So, when things don’t go the way I want them, “I” – the child of God, what I need to focus on is on God’s sovereignty, not on my situations because even those “patiently waiting” days have purpose in my life and that purpose is for my good! ///
