Where Does My Help Come From?

Coronavirus now is in our neighborhood. Maryland has been in state of emergency since yesterday.

And Ethiopia is fighting against many nations who didn’t want to see her prosper her people. The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), also known as Hidasse Dam project is facing different oppositions.

I don’t know about you but for me, this chapter of the Bible has been my source of comfort and hope these days:

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.” Psalm 121

Everything may seem hopeless but when we look up, no matter how bad the news turn out to be, we find hope in Him. ///
