It is a mockery!

It is my prayer that this video message somehow gets to a young man and help him get his theology and doctrine about God straight so that he will be an instrument of God to get rid of all kinds of mockery and faulty teachings from the house of God.

I am seriously tired of hearing preachers preaching their own fears and insecurities. I am tired of hearing, “Hold on to your salvation lest you lose it,” kind of message.

What passage of the Bible they use?

Philippians 2:12-13

“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to WORK OUT your salvation with fear and trembling, FOR it is God who WORKS IN YOU to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”

If it is God who is working out my salvation by working in me to will and act according to His will, how can I lose my salvation?

But this is why I think preachers these days preach like that:

Churches these days are full of “unconverted” people, people who are not born of the Spirit of God. If a speaker says something that is against their thinking or system of belief, they react in a way that scares the preacher.

So, the preacher, little by little, learns how to keep the peace, how to make everybody happy, smiling and laughing. I mean, who doesn’t like that kind of reaction from a group of people, especially when we are the ones who are standing and speaking behind the podium?

A message catered to make the unregenerated people happy is no Gospel!

It is a joke. It is a mockery. It is blasphemy to God. It’s a kind of message that hurts the regenerated ones, those who are born of the spirit of God. ///
