A Big Warm & Welcome Embrace

“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.””

~ Psalm 122:1 NLT

The house of God is the only house we always receive a big warm and welcome embrace from our heavenly Father in Christ.

The secret is found not in the embrace, not in the warm welcome nor in the fact that we are going to the house of God, but in this:

“in Christ.”

No one can see the Father except through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 NLT

In Christ, we have our redemption!

“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” ~ Colossians 1:13-14

We have confidence to approach the throne of a Might God.

“Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.” ~ Ephesians 3:12 NLT

Jesus is the Lamb of God who died for your sin and mine. He is slain and now and forever, He is standing at the right hand of God on behalf of you and me and His blood, like Abel’s blood, is saying to God something like, Father, accept and love them with the same love You love Me for I died for their sin. (Romans 8:34)

My! My! My! Who can fathom the glory of the Son of God! Who can utter a word against the Lamb of God!

No one for no one is above Him!

“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death — even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

~ Philippians 2:5-11

May His name forever be praised!

Yes, I rejoice when they say to me, “Let’s go to the house of God,” for I have no other house to go to.

God Himself is the only dwelling place I have here on earth and in heaven. I dwell in the shelter of the Most High, I will rest in the shadow of the Almighty! Psalm 91:1 ///
