Our Best Friend

If the word of God doesn’t have any place in our homes, how can our homes stay standing?

They cannot!

“Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1a)

If the word of God doesn’t have the last say in our homes, how can our homes continue standing?

They cannot!

“The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” – on Jesus Christ, on the word of God – (Matthew 7:25)

If a husband and a wife don’t come together as one before God and His word, how can they be “naked” before God and each other without fear or shame (Genesis 2:25)?

They cannot!

Unless we make the habit of hiding the word of God in our hearts on a daily basis, how can we expect our marriages to be free from dirty and filthy internet stuff?

We cannot!

“Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.” (Psalm 119:11)
Hiding the word of God in our hearts produces obedience and obedience brings all God’s blessings into our lives.

Let’s make the word of God our best friend, a friend we refuse to live apart from. ///
