Trying to stop porn and masturbation addiction is a short cut to get into deep addictions.

“- – – ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.” Zechariah 4:6

We have to know that absolute purity and holiness is the life of the Son of God, Jesus Christ who is the Word of God.

We have to always remember that we are the branches and Jesus Christ is the Vine. Branches are not the source of the supple but the Vine. The work of the branch is only one, to cling to the Vine. That is all!

Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) – He is literally saying to us, “You are hopeless without Me, my word.”

Will power can’t break addiction. Don’t try to win over your addiction; instead kill it by cultivating your “clinging” job day and night privately and with other brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Word of God is the only weapon you and I have to fight back, nothing else. If Jesus Christ fought against the enemy by saying, “It is written,” how much more do we need God’s word to fight and win against our enemy! (Matthew 4) ///
