Respect One Another

I had a wonderful time in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Ethiopian Christians Fellowship Church (ECFC).

As always, I would like to thank the leaders of ECFC for inviting me to their church: Pastor Endalkachew and his beautiful wife, Bisrat, and the family ministry leaders, Berhanu and Betty and Zerihun and Almaz and all the elders of ECFC.

Thank you very much for giving me this wonderful opportunity! And thank you all for taking a good care of me. Not only had you opened your door to receive me to your church but also you had opened your hearts and minds to listen to my messages. So, thank you and may God bless you all!

I also would like to thank the whole congregation for coming out in this cold weather to worship God with us.

I especially would like to thank the teenagers who came out on Sunday, early in the morning. Yes, I was surprised to find that many teenagers in that early hour. We sat in circle and had a wonderful time. What a precious opportunity for me to invest in the hearts and minds of young people! May the Name of Jesus Christ be praised!

Before I sign off, let me share with you a clip of my Sunday morning message.

For those who cannot understand Amharic, all I am saying is this: It is not only the husband who needs to be respected by his wife but also the wife needs to be respect by her husband for the marriage to work. The Bible says, “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” Ephesians 5:21 ///
