Going back to my main point, it is always a blessing for me to visit my parents and it is even better to visit them during holidays. I just had a wonderful Easter celebration with them last weekend; and I am still savoring every moment of my remaining stay here in Addis Ababa.
“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:22
We submit to our husbands only when we submit to God. Otherwise the curse of controlling our husbands’ life will be our full time work.
May God be praised for saving us from that tiresome and wearisome work, work of controlling our husbands’ life!
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”” (Galatians 3:13)
Submission is a wonderful gift God gave to all wives; but it is only wonderful when it is given to a loving husband and when it comes out of a godly wife. ///
