I had a wonderful time!

I terribly missed to be on the page!

Well, I had a privilege to take part in a three day-long meeting with leaders of different ministries from our church, the International Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Washington, DC.

We were eating and sleeping there in the hotel so that we could stay focused. The topic of our discussion, in short, was how to make our church relevant in the ever changing society and culture.

The picture I’m sharing with you today is the picture I took with five percent of the people who were there.

How wonderful it is to be with other believers! How peaceful it is to be found among those who belong not to this world but the world that is yet to come! How comforting and safe it feels to be among those who are washed by the blood of Jesus Christ! How refreshing it is to sit and talk with people who have only one goal in mind, to glorify God and His Son, Jesus Christ!

Praise God!

Throughout the meeting, I was thinking this:

Lonely Christians are always easy prey for the trap of the devil.

The Bible says,

“Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

If you are a believer in Christ, you can’t make it alone; you need other believers in your life. ///
