God loves humble people because humble people don’t have entitlement spirit. They don’t come to God and demand blessing but they humbly ask for mercy.
God also loves people with a contrite spirit. People with a contrite spirit tend to pray like this: “God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” (Luke 18:13) They are remorseful about their sin-inflected heart. So, they don’t take God’s mercy and grace lightly. And when they hear the word of God, they tremble and bow down; not in fear of judgement but owe of God. ///
