Trying to Go Back to Maryland

I had a wonderful time with the San Francisco Addis Kidan Ethiopian and Eritrean Church!

My! My! My! Was the devil on my way? Yes, he was but that is half the story. Jesus was (and is) before me and behind me and He put my enemy to shame! Jesus strengthened me throughout the program; and I saw His Faithful move among His people as He revealed His truth through His spirit. Oh, how I love to be with Christ!

You see, if we are in Christ, not only our sufferings but even our death is “victory!” Can anybody comprehend that? I can’t! It takes my breath away even thinking about it! Oh, are you in Christ? Do you know Him personally?

If you are reading this and have never invited Christ to your life, I don’t think this is a coincidence for you to read this. Maybe today is the day for you to try Jesus and test His faithfulness in your life. No magic prayer! Just call His name. Say, “Jesus, come to my life.”! You will never regret!

Well, I’m currently in the San Francisco airport, not knowing when my flight is going to be. You can call it “being stranded” because my beautiful Maryland is covered with ice and snow and my flight has been delayed for some extra hours. I don’t even want to count how many hours. All I know is I’m enjoying the sun, even if I’m looking at it through the glass windows. The weather is 65 degree, sunny and bright. Sorry for breaking that news to you like that especially for those of you who are dealing with snow right now.

Oh, San Francisco! Other than the weather, what a wonderful Saturday and Sunday God gave me! With teenagers, singles, the whole congregation and married couples! Throughout the program, I felt like we all were feasting at the table of our heavenly Father.

You see, when God enlightens our spirit, our spiritual eyes open up real wide and we can see who we are in Christ, His incomparably great power for us who believe in Him (Ephesians 1:18-21) and all the victories we have in Him, victories our enemy and flesh don’t want us to see. Then we find strength to fight back against our sexual battles because we see the unfailing hope we have in Christ and once again, we rise up and say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

What a joy to share this kind of Spirit with others!

Let me take this moment to say “Thank you” to everybody who made my travel one of a kind.

Thank you Pastor/Dr. Tesfay Tesema and Abeba, for having me over to your church!

Special “Thank you” goes to Beza who introduced me and the Appeal for Purity Ministry to the Addis Kidan church. Thank you so much Beza my friend! God bless you and yours!

I would also like to say “Thank you” to all the  Addis Kidan Church folks who made my stay enjoyable especially Ruth, Enate and Yemi, thank you guys!

I can’t wait to share with you all the Sunday morning sermon. I will upload it when I get home.

If you didn’t “Subscribe” to the Appeal for Purity YouTube channel yet, make sure you do that so that you will be the first one to receive the video every time we upload a video.

Until I find myself back in my kitchen typing my messages, so long! May the Lord be with you all! ///
