Blessings!

Last Sunday, our senior pastor said, “This week is a week you bless everyone you run into. Or, call someone and when they pick up the phone, don’t even say “Hi” or anything. Just pour a blessing on them.”

I love it! So, this morning, I decide to bless you. Since A4P Facebook page fans are diverse, I want to write my blessing to a group of people:

To Married Couples:

May the LORD bless your marriage in a way so that it will be a hope to those who are struggling in their marriages; may the LORD’s blessing take over your marital bed so that you be a partaker of God’s sexual blessing; may His blessing rest on your kids so that your later days will be full of joy and happiness; may the LORD bless you with understanding of His Word so that you know how to live for Christ in your marriage; may the LORD bless you with wisdom so that you be a godly spouse as you put your spouse above anyone else; may the LORD bless you with joy and contentment so that you will never lust after anyone other than your spouse; may the LORD bless you with rest so that you won’t be entangled in the passing passion of this world; may the LORD bless you with love and kindness so that you will live in peace with everyone!

To Singles:

May the LORD bless you with His presence so that loneliness won’t drive you to a wrong person; may the LORD bless you with His peace and joy as you wait on Him so that feeling of desperation won’t lead your life; may the LORD bless you with His insight so that you will know when the time comes for you to marry; may His blessings be on your comings and outings so that noble characters and behaviors mark your life; may the blessing of God be your beauty so that only that person who is sent by God desires you for marriage; may the LORD bless you with confidence in His name so that you can start all over again when you miss the mark; may the LORD bless you with the revelation of His Word so that you will be wiser and smarter than your enemy; may the LORD’s blessing goes out before you so that you will have favor before man and God; may the LORD bless you with knowledge and understand so that you escape all the schemes of your enemy; may the LORD bless you with joy and pleasure of His salvation so that a temporary pleasure of this world will be despised before you.

To Celibates (a group of people I come to know recently):

(BTW, a celibate doesn’t mean a person who stays away from sex until marriage but a virgin person who decided never to have any sexual relation with any person throughout their lives for the sake of worshiping God and giving their undivided devotion to God as it is written on 1 Corinthians 7)

May the LORD bless you with joy which passes understanding so that you proclaim the kingdom of God throughout your life; may the LORD bless you with boldness so that you encourage and strengthen others who are called to be celibates; may the LORD bless you with courage so that you finish your race in this sexually saturated society; may the LORD bless you with kind and compassionate heart so that you may comfort those who are hurting in this world because of sexual immorality; may the LORD bless you with His presence so that you may never feel lonely!

To divorced people

May the blessing of the LORD rest on you with unexplainable joy and rest so that you won’t be overwhelmed with your temporary suffering; may the LORD bless you with a heart full of gratitude so that your enemy won’t wearing you out about the things you don’t have; may the LORD bless you with heavenly understanding of your past and future so that you proclaim His mercy and grace to the watching world; may the LORD bless you with knowing God as your spouse so that you may rest in peace; may the LORD bless you with a forgiving heart so that you delight only in your LORD and Savior; may the LORD bless you with grace which enables you find your way even when it seems no way!

Amen! ///
